Kofi Kyereh stars recovery work

Ghana international Daniel Kofi Kyereh has undergone a successful surgery and has started recovery to see him get back to life in football.

The midfielder ruptured his knee during a training program with his club Freiburg in Germany and has been out since last month.

Kofi Kyereh will be out till the end of the season as his side continue to push up the league ladder in Germany as they lie 4th on the Bundesliga.

He joined Freiburg from St. Pauli before the start of the season and has featured twelve times in the Bundesliga scoring twice.

The attacking midfielder has formed a strong camaraderie with his teammates and his lost would be felt by the Christian Streich’s side.

He was part of the Ghana’s side that went to the World Cup in Qatar and his absence means he will miss Black Stars upcoming AFCON 2023 Qualifier against Angola in March 2023.
