Kyereh Marks Comeback with Winning Goal for Freiburg U23s

Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh continued his encouraging return from injury by scoring the decisive goal for Freiburg U23s in their victory over KSV Hessen Kassel on Saturday.

The attacking midfielder, who played more than 29 minutes, made an immediate impact after coming off the bench, finding the net to secure an important win for the German side.

Kyereh’s latest contribution means he has now registered a goal and an assist in his first two matches since returning to competitive action — a highly promising sign for both club and country.

The 30-year-old has endured a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but his sharp displays in recent outings suggest he is steadily rediscovering his rhythm and confidence.

His return will be welcomed by Ghana supporters, with the Black Stars set to benefit from the availability of one of their most creative midfield options ahead of upcoming international assignments.

For Freiburg, Kyereh’s growing influence offers another boost as they continue their campaign, while the player himself will be eager to build momentum and push for more first-team opportunities in the weeks ahead.
