Ghanaian sprint star Joseph Paul Amoah says he is determined to make a bold statement when he lines up in the men’s 100m final at the ongoing African Senior Athletics Championships.

The experienced speedster booked his place in the final after producing an impressive performance in the semi-finals at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, raising hopes of a podium finish for Team Ghana in front of the home supporters.

Amoah, who has been one of Ghana’s most consistent sprinters on the international stage in recent years, looked sharp and confident throughout the heats and semi-finals, showing both composure and explosive acceleration against a highly competitive field.

With the atmosphere building in Accra and thousands expected to fill the stadium for the showpiece race, the Ghanaian sprinter is eager to seize the moment and deliver a memorable performance on home soil.

The final is expected to feature some of Africa’s fastest men, but Amoah remains focused on the task ahead as he aims to bring glory to Ghana and cement his status among the continent’s elite sprinters.
