Hearts of Oak duo, Gladson Awako and Seidu Suraj will be joining Hearts training next week after their return from Algeria in the CHAN 2022.

Both players played integral part of Ghana’s Quarter Finals reach at the tournament after she missed out in the last three tournaments.

The World Cup U-20 winner who doubles as the captain of the team could not shine as expected in the tournament after picking up an injury before the start of the tournament in a friendly against Mozambique.

He, however, finished the tournament for Ghana with a strong return into the team featuring in the last game against Niger in Oran.

The youngster, produced glimmer of hopes for the team throughout the qualifier and into the tournament proper leaving the team into a bright future in his care.

Accra Hearts of Oak traveled to Tamale on Friday for their Match Day 16 encounter against Real Tamale United without these two players.

Reports are that they will start training with the team next after having some full rest to help the team in annexing the 2022/23 season diadem under the guidance of Slavtko Matic, who has been impressive since taking over from Samuel Boadu.
