Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana has made his debut for English Premier League side Southampton in Saturday’s encounter against Brentford Match Day 22.

Southampton lost heavily by 3-0 at the Brentford Community Stadium through Ben Mee, Bryan Mbeumo, and Mathias Jensen 41st, 44th and 80th minutes respectively.

The former Right to Dream star made a cameo on the 46th minute to substitute Mohammed Elyounoussi after the team were down by 2-0.

He made little impact in Nathan Jones’s side making 7 out of 15 completed passes with a single shot on goal in his 45 minutes on the field of play.

The 20-year-old completed a twenty-five million pounds move from French side Stade Rennes to Southampton on the final day of the second transfer window in Europe.

Southampton are currently 20th on the league log after 21 games and are on the brink of being relegated to the English Championship with 17 games left to end the season.

The former Nordjelland star is expected to help the side to escape relegation as expectation is high from him coming a good World Cup he personally had though had few minutes in the mundial.

It will probably take time for the youngster to integrate properly in the team as he had to deal with intermittent lay off on the treatment table.

He featured 14 times and scored ones for Stade Rennes this season before transferred to Southampton but made 46 appearance in his one-and-half season stay in France scoring six times.

He has 15 caps for the Black Stars of Ghana.
