Tetteh Zutah to announce retirement Sunday

Joseph Tetteh Zutah will be hanging up his football boots on Sunday, February 05, 2023 after Medeama SC’s home game against Samatex 1996 at the Tarkwa Akoon Park.

The game against Samatex will not only be a Match Day 16 fixture for all important three points but also a farewell game for a club icon who has served through thick and thin since 2008.

The footballer cum administrator who is currently serving as the Deputy Chairman of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) and club Administrator for Medeama will have a final tete-a-tete with the teeming supporters of the Yellow and Mauves before officially say a goodbye.

Zutah has chalked over 400 appearances for the Tarkwa-based side scoring and assisting over 100 goals since donning the Medeama jersey winning two FA Cup trophies in 2013 and 2015 for the club.

He has featured in two games for the club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season where Medeama are currently on the 10th position with 20 points after 15 games.

He will leave an indelible mark in the annals of the club he has so much served with pride and honour and will forever be a shining example to upcoming players in commitment and dedication to service.
