Ghana international Afriyie Barnieh Daniel has penned an emotional goodbye to Accra Hearts of Oak after the expiration of his contract.
The 21-year-old leaves the Phobian side after enjoying stellar three seasons with them joining them in 2019 after a failed move to Asante Kotoko.
The former National U-20 captain won everything there is to win in the local scene for Accra Hearts of Oak helping the club to break a twelve-year jinx of league draught.
He won a back-to-back FA Cup during that period to widen the club’s FA Cup trophies in Ghana.
He thanked all and sundry within the rank and file of Hearts of Oak for helping him achieve an enviable record at the club.

Afriyie Barnieh will be joining Swiss side FC Zurich for the next three and half years.
