Hearts of Oak Reassigns Aboubakar Ouattara as Special Adviser to the Board

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC has officially announced the reassignment of former Head Coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, to the role of Special Adviser to the Board of Directors.

The announcement, contained in a statement issued by the club on Monday, signifies a shift in Ouattara’s responsibilities following his tenure as Head Coach. According to the statement, Ouattara will now assume a strategic advisory role, working closely with the Board on special projects and tasks aimed at furthering the club’s long-term vision.

“The Board of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC has re-assigned Aboubakar Ouattara from the role of Head Coach to Special Adviser to the Board of Directors,” the statement read.

In his new capacity, Ouattara is expected to leverage his extensive experience and deep familiarity with the club’s sporting philosophy to support executive decision-making and contribute to technical development from behind the scenes.

The Board conveyed its appreciation and confidence in the continued partnership, stating: “We take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the professionalism and innovation Aboubakar Ouattara brought to the senior team during his time as Head Coach.”
