Accra Great Olympics have appointed Eric Alagidede as their new General Manager, replacing long-serving football administrator Oloboi Commodore in a significant restructuring of the club’s leadership.

Alagidede, who officially signed his contract on Friday, 11 July 2025, joins the “Wonder Club” with a growing reputation as one of Ghana’s most promising young football executives. His appointment signals the club’s clear intent to rebuild and regain promotion to the Ghana Premier League, following their relegation two seasons ago.

The former Chief Executive Officer of Nsoatreman FC is widely credited with transforming the Bono-based club into a competitive side, guiding them to victory in the MTN FA Cup and securing their first-ever qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup during the 2023/24 season. Prior to that, he served as Director of Communications at Karela United, highlighting his versatility and deep understanding of modern football operations.

At Accra Great Olympics, Alagidede will spearhead the club’s strategic and operational revival. His mandate includes leading the push for promotion, instituting sustainable management structures, and positioning the two-time league champions as a financially stable and professionally run organisation.

His appointment also reflects the club’s increasing commitment to youthful, forward-thinking leadership, as they strive to re-establish themselves among the elite of Ghanaian football. With Alagidede at the helm, the Wonder Club are hopeful of turning a new chapter in their pursuit of long-term success—both on and off the pitch.
