University of Ghana Sports Stadium to Host 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Final on 23rd July
The grand finale of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup will be held on Tuesday, 23rd July, at the prestigious University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra.
The tournament, which has showcased some of West Africa’s most promising young football talent, will conclude with both the third-place play-off and the final set to take place at the same venue.
According to the WAFU Secretariat, the third-place encounter will kick off at 15:00 GMT, giving the two semi-final losers an opportunity to finish their campaign on a high. The championship final will follow at 19:00 GMT, played under the stadium’s floodlights.
With its modern facilities and state-of-the-art playing surface, the University of Ghana Sports Stadium is expected to provide a fitting backdrop for what promises to be an exciting and competitive end to the tournament.
The stadium, which has hosted several major sporting events since its completion, will now play a pivotal role in concluding one of West Africa’s most fiercely contested youth competitions.
