Italian Serie A side Atalanta BC have confirmed that Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana will wear the jersey number seven (7) at the club.

The jersey number marks a change for Sulemana who wore the jersey number 20 at former club Southampton during his stint in the English Premier League.

Colombia international Juan Cuadrado and Dutch international Teun Koopmeiners recently wore the jersey number seven during their time at Atalanta.

Sulemana recently joined Atalanta from Southampton on a four year deal for a reported fee of 18 million pounds in a heralded move.

Sulemana spent two and a half seasons with the Saints in England after sealing a move from French League side Stade Rennes.

By joining Atalanta, Kamaldeen teams up with Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana and head coach Ivan Juric who served as Southampton manager in the 2023-2024 season.
