Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana has spoken highly of his new side Southampton since coming to England on the last day of the second transfer window.

After playing a crucial part in Stade Rennais’ brilliant start of the season who are currently positioned 5th on the league table, a lot of meanings are read as to the decision to leave France for England to joining a relegation threatened side.

The 21-year-old has refuted that Southampton is the “right place” for him to bring out his best in his young career.

In an interview with club, the former Right to Dream Academy player says he is ready to do his best to salvage the club from sinking.

“I felt this is the right place to be. I needed to play more and improve myself.”

“I am looking forward to giving my all to the team, do what I do best to help the team win because that’s the most important thing.”

“Hopefully we can win a lot of games and stay in the league, that’s the main goal.”

Southampton continue to languish bottom on the league table as they lost at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, in a game Kamaldeen Sulemana did feature from the start.
