Injuries engulf Asante Kotoko ahead of Dreams FC encounter

Asante Kotoko have a tall number of key players on the treatment table ahead of their last league game for the first round of the 2022/23 season against Dreams FC.

In a difficult title defense season for the “Porcupine Warriors” so far, Asante Kotoko will be missing some important players who have played crucial part in the clubs performance this season against Dreams FC.

Newly signed defender Mohammed Alhassan is part of the players out of Sunday’s game due to illness and might take time before returning on the field for Asante Kotoko.

Maxwell Agyemang, who has become a reliable source at the heart of defense for Seidu Zerbo’s side in times of injury crisis to the defensive department of the team is also injured and will have no part to play at Dawu.

Justice Blay, who has been a makeshift central defender after the injury of Yusif Mubarik and Sheriff Mohammed’s away to CHAN, has picked up an injury.

Patrick Asmah and Isaac Oppong have all returned to the treatment table after recovering from a long lay off from last season.

These are key players who, when fit, form the pivotal position of the club.
