The stage is set as Ghana’s leading men’s 100m sprinters have converged in Texas, USA, for a closed training camp at Texas A&M University–Commerce, in preparation for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo (13–21 September).

The camp, organised by Ghana Athletics in partnership with the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), has received both financial backing from the GOC and logistical support from Texas A&M University–Commerce. The athletes will train under the supervision of Coach George Pincock, the university’s head track and field coach.

Benjamin Azamati, one of the country’s marquee sprinters, is set to join the camp on 18 August after fulfilling competition commitments in Europe.
