Tryton Motors CEO Outlines Bold Vision for Ghana’s Industrial Future
The Chief Executive Officer of Tryton Motors, Mr Jihad Hijazi, has pledged the company’s commitment to driving Ghana’s growth and positioning the country as a hub for trade, productivity, and innovation across Africa.

Speaking at the official launch of a new JAC product line, Mr Hijazi said the unveiling was “not an endpoint, but the beginning of a long and rewarding journey” that aligns the company’s ambitions with the aspirations of the nation.

He emphasised that leadership in business must go beyond profit-making to embrace responsibility — the responsibility to create value, build trust, and contribute to national progress.
“In today’s rapidly evolving, AI-driven world, Ghana stands at a unique crossroads,” he said. “With its youthful energy, growing economy, and strategic position on the continent, Ghana has the potential to become a centre of excellence for mobility and industry. But this requires more than ambition; it demands skilled human resources, strong infrastructure, efficient logistics, and reliable tools.”
According to the CEO, Tryton Motors views its role as a national partner in development. He noted that every decision the company makes — from the vehicles it introduces to the standards it upholds — is guided by a higher purpose: to strengthen Ghana’s competitiveness, empower businesses, serve consumers, and generate employment.
“Beyond pickups, trucks, and technology, there is a deeper obligation: to build with a sense of patriotism and duty. The choices we make today must create jobs, stimulate growth, and lay the foundations of the Ghana we dream of for future generations,” he added.
Mr Hijazi reaffirmed Tryton Motors’ pledge to innovation, responsibility, and excellence, stressing the company’s willingness to collaborate with government, industry, and entrepreneurs so that Ghana’s growth story is “written here, by Ghanaians and for Ghanaians.”
He further called on industry stakeholders and partners to unite behind a shared vision of building a Ghana that “stands tall in Africa and beyond,” adding: “The future is not something we wait for; it is something we build. And today, with this launch, we take yet another step forward in building the Ghana we all desire.”
Also Speaking at the media launch in Accra, Alhaji Fadi Fattal, Group Business Development Director of Tryton Motors, said the introduction of the JAC brand reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening logistics and transportation in Ghana. “At Tryton Motors, we believe transportation goes beyond moving goods. It is about driving growth, creating opportunities, and fuelling the economy. JAC trucks have been designed with Ghana in mind — tough enough for our roads, efficient for today’s economy, and versatile for every sector of growth,” he stated.
The newly unveiled range is structured into three categories:
Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs): Compact, fuel-efficient and easy to drive, these trucks are tailored for small businesses and urban deliveries, offering low running costs and maximum uptime.
Medium Commercial Vehicles (MCVs): Marketed as the backbone of logistics and distribution, they boast stronger load capacities, improved engine performance, and reliable braking systems.

Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs): Built for power and endurance, these trucks are designed for construction, mining, and heavy-duty haulage, making them suitable for industries driving national infrastructure and economic development.
Mr Fattal emphasised that choosing JAC trucks represents an investment in value, reliability, and dependability, with features such as fuel-saving engines, robust chassis, and extended service intervals aimed at reducing operational costs for businesses.

“JAC Trucks are more than transport — they are the backbone of progress,” he added. “Every journey carries more than goods; it carries livelihoods, families, and futures. That is why this range is built to raise the standard in reliability, efficiency, and performance.”
The launch of the JAC Truck Range reinforces Tryton Motors’ ambition to support Ghana’s transport sector and provide solutions tailored to the country’s challenging road and business environments.
