Ablekuma Central Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Frank Nkansah, joined pupils across selected schools to mark the 2025 edition of “My First Day at School”. The event was supported by the Maximum Joy Foundation, aiming to promote education and child development in the municipality.

The team visited four schools, including Kaneshie West 1 Basic School, Holy Family KG/Primary, Buhari Islamic Basic School, and Pres. J. E. A. Mills Basic School. A highlight of the exercise was the visit to Buhari Islamic Basic School, which has recently introduced a Junior High School wing and boasts a modern computer laboratory facility, showcasing the Member of Parliament’s dedication to enhancing educational infrastructure.

Hon. Frank Nkansah emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to providing quality education, stating, “The future of our municipality rests on the shoulders of these young ones. We must give them every reason to enjoy school and remain committed to their education.” The event featured distribution of school items and words of encouragement, setting a positive tone for the pupils’ educational journey.

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central, Hon. Abdul Latif Dan, played a significant role in the initiative, particularly at Buhari Islamic Basic School. This collaborative effort highlights the strong partnership between the Assembly, Parliament, and other stakeholders in advancing educational development in the municipality.
