WORLD CROSS — Gold for Jacob Kiplimo 🇺🇬 and Team Kenya 🇰🇪 in men’s senior race
Four years after his silver medal in Aarhus, Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo clinched the 2023 world cross-country title in Australia. Ethiopian champion Berihu Aregawi took silver ahead of 2019 world champion Joshua Cheptegei.
Kenya missed out on the podium but topped the team standings with Geoffrey Kamworor, Kibiwott Kandie, Daniel Simiu Ebenyo and Sabastian Kimaru Sawe following in the next 4 places.
