Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of Cameroonian defender Salomon Charles Bienvenue Banga Bindjeme from Al Hilal Omdurman, Sudan, according to reports.

The 27-year-old Central Defender will join the Ghanaian champions till the end of the 2022/23 season.

It is believe that Asante Kotoko might be attempted to substantively keep him after the season should his performance hit crescendo in Ghana.

The former Difaa Al Jadidi player moved to Sudan in 2022 and have failed to cement consistent playing time with Florent Ibengbe’s side.

He is ready to look elsewhere for regular playing time, therefore, pushing his side to agree on a loan term with Asante Kotoko from a good club relationship.

Al Hilal Omdurman will take full cost of his salaries during his short stay whereas Asante Kotoko take care of his bonuses.

He was part of the Cameroonian CHAN team that featured in the Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN) tournament in Morocco in 2022.

Imoro Ibrahim joined the Sudanese side from Asante Kotoko on a $430,000 deal before the start of the 2022/23 season and has since been a consistent performance on the left side of defense.

Al Hilal have qualified into the group stages of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
