Great Olympics midfielder Frimpong Boateng has re-joined King Faisal FC on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.

The midfielder joined the “Oly Dade” side in August 21 season after helping King Faisal survive the relegation producing quality football for the club.

The 22-year-old has had limited playing time since he joined Great Olympics under Annor Walker and has failed to make any headway under Yaw Preko.

Frimpong Boateng has played once for Great Olympics this season from the bench in a 2-2 draw game against Bibiani Goldstars in Accra.

He returns to his old home to help them fight for survival in the league as King Faisal languish in the relegation zone.

The former Black Meteors star is part of the additions made by the club in the second transfer window including Benjamin Bature, formerly of Medeama SC.

Ex-Berekum Chelsea defender Nasiru Ebla and former Eleven Wonders and Dreams FC striker Samuel Boakye have all joined King Faisal to reinvigorate the squad ahead of the second round of the league.
