International friendly: Morocco and Brazil to face off in March

112

Moroccan National Team will be facing the Brazilian National team in an international friendly at the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier, Morocco next month.

The friendly will be the first friendly encounter for the year 2023 after the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar that saw history made by the North African giants.

In a World Cup moment that will remain in the history folklore of Morocco and Africa football, Brazil were left a dent in their own abilities at the international level of football where they failed to make it to the semi finals for the fourth time.

Morocco’s double-header AFCON Qualifiers against Zimbabwe in March has been cancelled and has been replaced with a friendly game with the five times world champions.

Morocco leads Group K with six points after two games followed by South Africa and Liberia who are yet to pick a single point.

The Atlas Lions is managed by Walid Regragui.

As at now, the Brazilian National Team has no Head Coach since the sacking of Tite after their exit in the World Cup against Croatia at the Quarter Finals.

A lot of coaches have been tabled to replace Tite including Carlo Ancelotti currently with Real Madrid, Luiz Enrique who is unattached and a host of other coaches.
