Kobby Mensah replaces Yaw Preko at Olympics

Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics have appointed Bismark Kobby Mensah as their new Head Coach.

The former Karela United gaffer signed a three-year-deal with the “Dade Boys” keeping him with the club till 2026.

Accra Great Olympics sacked Yaw Preko on Wednesday, 15 February, 2023 after strings of poor results in the first round of matches in the Ghana Premier League 2022/23 season leaving them 10th on the league log with 23 points after 17 games.

The Accra-based side have quickly replaced him with the second assistant to the Black Galaxies’ Head Coach as the second round of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League begins this weekend.

Bismark Kobby Mensah comes in with a lot of experience in his name in the local league to equip him meet the quest of the club in competing for top spot in the local league.

His first game for Great Olympics will be against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park at Bechem in Match Day 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
