Former Hearts of Oak goalkeepers’ coach Najahu Issah has opened up following the dissolution of the club’s technical team, admitting he was shocked when he first heard the news.

According to Najahu Issah, he initially came across reports of the decision on social media before the matter was later confirmed by head coach Didi Dramani on the club’s official platforms.

Speaking in an interview on Oyerepa TV, the former Hearts of Oak goalkeepers’ trainer revealed that the development came as a surprise to many members of the technical staff, especially considering the work that had been done during their time at the club.

Issah disclosed that coach Didi Dramani informed the staff that, despite the challenges faced during the season, he believed the goalkeeping department had successfully achieved its objectives by producing two strong goalkeepers capable of competing for places in the Black Stars setup.

The former Hearts trainer further praised the professionalism shown within the technical team and highlighted the significant progress made by the club’s goalkeepers under their guidance.

He also confirmed reports that Hearts of Oak do not owe him any outstanding salaries or bonuses, a statement that follows comments he reportedly made during a radio interview on Thursday.

The dissolution of the technical team has generated widespread discussion among Hearts of Oak supporters, with many fans expressing mixed reactions on social media as the club prepares for a major restructuring ahead of the new football season.

Hearts of Oak are expected to announce a new technical direction in the coming weeks as the club aims to rebuild and challenge strongly in domestic competitions next season.
